Cutting it off

Cossack
So lately I have been thinking of getting rid of the hair almost completely. Going down to what amounts to a crew cut length.

That or shave it completely. Now its something that I would like to do but I am still having trouble doing it. I am tired of the length and dealing with it already...but I can't seem to let go.

I will be keeping the facial hair though, that I just can't get rid of.

The Renaissance was a cultural movement that profoundly affected European intellectual life. Beginning in Italy, and spreading to the rest of Europe by the 16th century, its influence affected literature, philosopy, religion, art, politics, science, and all other aspects of intellectual enquiry. Renaissance artists looked at the human aspect of life in their art. They did not reject religion but tended to look at it in it's purest form to create visions they thought depicted the ideals of religion. Painters of this time had their own style and created works based on morality, religion, and human nature. Many of the paintings depicted what they believed to be the corrupt nature of man.

People that like Renaissance paintings like things that are more challenging. They tend to have a high emotional stability. They also tend to be more concientious then average. They have a basic understanding of human nature and therefore are not easily surprised by anything that people may do. They enjoy life and enjoy living. They are very aware of their own mortality but do not dwell on the end but what they are doing in the present. They enjoy learning, but may tend to be a bit more closed minded to new ideas as they feel that the viewpoint they have has been well researched and considered. These people are more old fashioned and not quite as progressive. They enjoy the finer things in life like comfort, a good meal, and homelife. They tend to be more spiritual or religious by nature. They are open to new aesthetic experiences.

You are The Chariot

Triumph, Victory, Overcoming Obstacles.

The chariot is one of the most complex cards to define. On its most basic level, it implies war, a struggle, and an eventual, hard-won victory. Either over enemies, obstacles, nature, the beasts inside you, or to just get what you want. But there is a great deal more to it. The charioteer wears emblems of the sun, yet the sign behind this card is the moon. The chariot is all about motion, and yet it is often shown as stationary. It is a union of opposites, like the black and white steeds. They pull in different directions, but must be (and can be!) made to go together in one direction. Control is required over opposing emotions, wants, needs, people, circumstances; bring them together and give them a single direction, your direction. Confidence is also needed and, most especially, motivation. The card can, in fact, indicate new motivation or inspiration, which gets a stagnant situation moving again.

Pick-a-tat

Cossack
Ok folks, I am on a limited connection here in FL but I needed to take 5 minutes to throw a quick poll up. I have been looking more and more at my tats walking around in shorts and a tank top so I need advice on a back piece.

Either this (Sorry to lazy to put a nice linky in) It would be the color pic at the bottom.

Or and armored angel holding down a demon about to strike it down along with a suitable biblical verse. Now please do not let your personal feelings about religion get in the way.

Thanks

Paladin
You scored 60 Holy, 42 Tactful, 52 Natural, and 25 Arcane!
Hahah... I once heard you described as a paragon of chivalry and virtue, but just because you fight (hard) for a God doesn't mean you're virtuous in society's eyes. Especially because in this world as you could just as easily be an anti-paladin, so don't let it get to your head. That warning aside, you are pretty awesome... you are a knight in the Templar style. You are almost always found riding around on a glistening (or nightmarish, your choice) horse, with impeccibly shined armor sparkling in the ray of sunshine that God makes sure never leaves your side, with your sword making neatly coreographed swishing motions, and caught amongst a cloud of blood and bits of non-believers that splatters everything 10 yards around you save your armor and your achingly-white-toothed fanatic smile. Is there any creature of God more dangerous than the single-minded paladin riding around, smiting everything it sees?.... Thank God (most of) you are on our side. No, literally.

I had often wondered what the average person in America knows of the most popular sport in just about every part of the world except in the states where it falls somewhere between curling and ping-pong.

Considering recent events at the World Cup including such fantastic images as one of the best players the world has seen retire with a red card in shame (Of course I was not all that surprised since he was French, heck if you put your finger in your pocket and pointed it at the French National Team pretending it was a gun I am sure they would have surrendered), the US failing again in international competition (At least they scored some goals), and the question of how the Italian team can miss every shoot out goal in the history of the nation and suddenly make all five. (Smacks of corruption I tell you).

There is also recent links to some "men" having a brawl on the field who were not hooligans (provided by [info]angryjonny), and Manchester United being 6 points clear I humbly offer these simple questions in the hopes that some of you will get more than one right.

So in honor of Third biggest British invasion after the Redcoats and Beatles I humbly offer these questions testing general football (soccer) knowledge. Not to mention His wife is pretty hot…well he is no slouch either.

How long is a “game”, and what is stoppage time?

Please explain the offside rule.

Define relegation and give a recent example of a high profile one.

Name at least 5 major European Football (Soccer) leagues and at least three major teams from each. Please confine yourself to Division 1.

Please define each and describe the relationship of the following organizations: FIFA, UEFA, CONCACAF.
Bonus: name at least 2 other federations and the areas they cover.

Define the following as they relate to the sport: Fixture, Pitch, booking, table and describe what a kit is and how many there are.

How many yellow cards in a game do you need to receive before you are shown a red, and what is the term used when a player is shown a red and told to leave the field?

Bonus: Name the last major Football (Soccer) league in the USA before the MSL and some indoor league they tried before that..
